As insane as that might sound, it's a normal thing. Us doggies prefer comfort and you humans need to provide.

Did I mention I have my own chair that was part of an old lounge set? I would show you photos but I destroyed the wood when I was a puppy. Even though it looks not nice, it's still my favorite spot.
